The big freeze has resulted in delays in collecting the backlog of Christmas household waste.
All Waste Collections together with street cleaning, litter picking and litter bin emptying were suspended last week due to adverse weather conditions.From Monday all residents are advised to leave their black wheely bins, kitchen waste containers and garden waste sacks out for collection on their normal collection day and to continue to leave it out until it is collected, which will be as soon as possible.
The council will also collect any additional waste you have provided it has been put into black plastic bin bags and placed next to your bins.
