As from the 1st March, the whole of Hamilton Business Park, Hedge End is going to become a clamping zone by order of the owner.
Royal Mail are very concerned at there office, Unit 2, Manaton Way Off Hamilton Business Park that there customers will be clamped when they come to pick up their mail as many other businesses on the business park will be hit through the lack of parking.

Royal Mail will have to start delivering mail properly if they don’t want their customers hit. I have actually been in my house when I have received a printed note through the letterbox telling me to pick up a parcel from the depot. The truth was the postman couldn’t be bothered to ring the bell and wait for a signature. I have found my post thrown in the street, the garden and not delivered for days. The service is appalling.

We have the best postal system in the world, despite systematic attempts by the EU to destroy it by means of the “Postal Service Directives”. Despite having lost its “cream” contracts in the big cities, Royal Mail is still obliged to deliver to every address in the UK at an unprofitable rate. Well done Royal Mail!

So where can one park when collecting undelivered mail and parcels?

Wherever you can -- just be quick!Get the wife to nip and get it while you keep the engine revved up. Alternatively ring up and arrange for re-delivery.
